BPF Party leader Ryhor Kastusyou has been detained. He has been kept at Minsk District detention centre since yesterday and may stand trial on Wednesday, BPF Party deputy leader Alyaksei Yanukevich wrote on Facebook. Kastusyou was detained on his way to the airport – he had planned to take part in the meeting of the Seim international commission there, Yanukevich said. Kastysyou could be detained for participation in a protest action near the restaurant in Kurapaty, he thinks.
Ryhor Kastusyou is 61 years old. He was elected BPF Party leader in September 2017.
